《傲慢与偏见》是一部社会风俗类小说，出版于1813年，是英国小说家简•奥斯丁的代表作。小说讲述了乡绅之女伊丽莎白•班内特的爱情故事，反应了19世纪英国乡绅阶层的礼节、成长、教育、道德、婚姻的情态。

Though the story is set at the turn of the 19th century, it retains a fascination for modern readers. It has become one of the most popular novels in English literature and receives considerable attention from literary scholars. To date, the book has sold some 20 million copies worldwide.
